Clean Water and Dieting

Have you had trouble dieting or losing weight? Are you aware of the link between clean water and dieting?

An adequate amount of water in the body allows it to function properly.. the intestines absorb the nutrients we eat, our liver along with the kidney metabolizes the stored fats in our body into energy. Metabolism is sped up with the proper amount of water in the body and excess fat is shed.

If we drink more water, the absorption process of nutrients in the intestines works as it should. Sugars and carbs are the nutrients that are absorbed most quickly in the intestines. If the body does not have enough water, carbs and sugars are absorbed but other nutrients are not. They are passed through then passed out as waste. So .. without enough water ... we lose most of the food's value that is eaten. Then we gain weight as the body keeps calling for more because it has not had the proper amounts of the nutrients needed. If we are not aware of this process... we eat more but do not drink more water.

More sugars and carbs are absorbed..more needed nutrients are passed out. The liver and the kidney lose the ability to keep up with the metabolism of the stored fats in the body .. and the body gains weight.

This process can go on indefinitely... causing obesity and poor health.

If the water we drink is not clean water .. if it is contaminated with microchemicals and toxins.. which most of our unfiltered tap water is just due to our environmental conditions today... we challenge our liver and our kidneys. As stated.. they are meant to work together to transform stored fats into energy for the body. When the water is contaminated, the liver is called on with the kidney to filter out the contaminants .. which eventually can cause damage to either or both organs...and in the process... the metiabolism of fats into energy is set aside... and the body retains the fat as added weight.

Clean water and dieting go together just as surely as birds and feathers.

Perhaps even more so.
